Worthing 10K Junior Mile start

Worth A Look At Worthing

Grab a Worthing 10K place and join 2,000 at the seaside...

With two months to race day – on Sunday 8 June, 2025 – now is the time to get on board for the Run Base Events Worthing 10K. The fast, flat course (elevation gain of 18 metres) is a PB-generator. It starts on Worthing's Marine Parade and heads west past Marine Gardens to Goring-by-Sea beach and the midpoint turn at Goring Greensward, before returning to the finish line near Worthing Lido.

The 10K route (pictured below) is certified accurate by England Athletics. Whether you’re a first timer, running for charity or an experienced club runner, you’ll enjoy a fantastic morning of running by the invigorating seaside.

Last year saw 1,876 finishers in 1:46:40 and rapid victories for Andrew McCaskill (unattached, 31:21) and Beth Kidger (Brighton Phoenix, 34:21). The 40-minute threshold was breached by 125 runners.

The action starts at 8:45am with the Junior Mile (pictured above) and the Worthing 10K is under Starter's Orders at 09:30am. Entries are available now for the 10K. The Junior Mile is open to entrants aged 5-14 at a flat fee of £8.
