The Wild One returns to Worcester for another fun and friendly multi lap running event organised by Black Pear Joggers. Combining trail running, relay racing and family participation, the event offers a choice of marathon, half marathon and relay options while raising funds for local stroke care services.

Starting and finishing at Old Elizabethans Cricket Club, the route follows a flat off road circuit through Perdiswell Park, around Ravenmeadow Golf Course and alongside the canal. The mixed terrain course combines grass, gravel and tarmac, creating an accessible challenge for runners of all abilities. Marathon runners complete ten laps, while the half marathon covers five laps, with relay options available for pairs and teams.

A Wild Mile children's race also takes place before the main event, helping make it a family friendly day out. With bespoke finisher medals, goody bags, fancy dress awards and a welcoming atmosphere, The Wild One offers a relaxed and enjoyable alternative to traditional marathon events.
