The West Yorkshire Trail Run takes place within the stunning grounds of Harewood House, offering a memorable trail experience across more than 100 acres of parkland, woodland, and landscaped estate.
Runners can choose between a half marathon (21K) or 13K route, both starting through the scenic Wall Side Plantation before a gentle climb to Sugar Hill, where wide views open across the estate. The course then heads towards the Emmerdale set, adding a unique local feature to the route.
The run continues towards Eccup Reservoir, the largest body of water in West Yorkshire, providing a peaceful stretch with expansive views and wildlife. The return section takes runners through Carr Plantation and Piper Wood, with forest trails, mature trees, and seasonal colours throughout.
The route finishes back near the estate lakeside, offering a final scenic section before the finish. All participants receive a medal, finisher goodies, and a drink at the end of the event.
