Run Loch Lomond is a festival of running organised by West Dunbartonshire Leisure Trust, bringing together the Loch Lomond 10K, Loch Lomond 5K and Fun Run in one celebration of running. Taking place in Balloch, the event showcases the natural beauty of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park while offering distances suitable for all ages and abilities.
The festival's flagship event is the Loch Lomond 10K, which continues a heritage dating back to the Vale of Leven 10K that first began in 1986. The Loch Lomond 5K was added in 2022 and follows a scenic route entirely within Balloch Castle Country Park, while the Fun Run provides younger runners with the opportunity to experience race day and finish beneath the same gantry as the main events.
Combining a rich history, picturesque surroundings and a welcoming atmosphere, Run Loch Lomond has become one of Scotland's best known community running festivals, attracting everyone from first time participants to experienced club runners.
