There can be few more scenic venues for a strenuous trail run than the South West Coastal Path near St Agnes, Cornwall. Imagine a half marathon course with 520 metres of elevation on a spectacular route and the great expanse of the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop!

This is the challenge for competitors in Trail Pursuit Cornwall on Saturday 31 May 2025. Get ready for an unforgettable day of running and festival vibes with Vinyasa yoga and wellness; ice bath and sauna experience; sports expo; food and drink; inspiring athlete speakers; music and nearby beaches to swim, surf or relax.

The centrepiece of the action is the Trail Half Marathon where route highlights include The Beacon at 192m above sea level (visited twice); Trevaunaunce Cove; a WW2 Gun Battery; the once secret beach at Chapel Porth; a possible sighting of the shipwreck of a 100-year-old steamer S.S. Eltham; the Wheal Coates tin mining area; bustling Porth Towan; sub-tropical flora at Goonvrea – all in a marvellous mix of coastal trails and wild forestry, perfect for those who love an adventurous trail race.

Also on the card at Trail Pursuit Cornwall is a Trail 10K, a Trail 5K, and a Kids Mile so all ages and abilities are included. The stunning scenery is illustrated in the 2024 Official Aftermovie during which the event is succinctly described as: "Bar, bagels, booze, spot on"...

Trail Pursuit founder Ed and Routes Manager Kev with the wider Trail Pursuit team are ready to welcome a thousand runners to this beautiful corner of England for Trail Pursuit Cornwall 2025. The host venue is Newdowns Farm, Beacon Drive, St Agnes TR5 0NU and registration is from 3-8 pm on Friday 30 May and 7-10 am on Saturday 31 May.

Enter before the end of February to save £6 on all events. Entry fees include FREE parking, a limited edition Trail Pursuit Cornwall buff; official event photography; nutrition/hydration at aid stations; medical support and a bespoke finisher's medal.
