Thornbury 10K

The Thornbury 10K is the second race in the Thornbury Running Club Race Series, which also includes the Riverbank Rollick and Oldbury 10 Mile. The series gives runners the opportunity to compete across three distinctive events, with cumulative prizes awarded for the fastest overall male and female performances across all races.

Starting near Oldbury-on-Severn, the 10K follows rolling country lanes through the South Gloucestershire countryside. The route offers an undulating challenge with wide ranging rural views, providing a rewarding alternative to flatter road races while remaining accessible to runners of all abilities.

Beginning a short walk from Oldbury Sailing Club and finishing at the Anchor Inn, the race combines scenic countryside running with a welcoming club atmosphere. As part of the Thornbury Running Club Race Series, the Thornbury 10K provides an important opportunity for runners to earn series times while enjoying one of the area's best known summer road races.
