Enjoy a running challenge with a sweet twist at The Snickerthon, a friendly multi-distance event held in the beautiful surroundings of Chasewater Country Park in Staffordshire. Organised by How Hard Can It Be Events, this welcoming race offers 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon distances, appealing to everyone from beginners looking to tackle their first organised event to experienced endurance runners seeking a longer challenge.

The multi-lap course takes runners around the picturesque country park, with each circuit covering approximately 5K. Following a mixture of paths and footpaths, the relatively flat route offers attractive views across Chasewater Reservoir and the surrounding countryside. Runners may even spot some of the park's resident deer along the way. The lap-based format allows participants to settle into a steady rhythm while enjoying the scenery.

With its relaxed atmosphere, friendly running community and well-stocked aid stations, The Snickerthon offers an enjoyable alternative to traditional road racing. Refreshments provide a welcome boost between laps, while the prospect of a special finisher medal and a chocolate treat adds to the fun. Whether completing a shorter distance or tackling the full marathon, participants can look forward to a rewarding running experience with plenty of encouragement along the way.
