Race Organiser All Set For Summer
The Race Organiser has been busy organising races again. With a portfolio of almost 40 events this spring and summer there is something for everyone, starting with a busy double-header this weekend.
First up is the Essex 10K Cross Country Series. Normally a staple discipline of the winter months this is a five-race, five-park trail series held on the second Saturday of each month, starting on 12 May. Each race has prizes, medals and goody bags and the venues are generally within half an hour travelling time from London by road or rail.
Sunday (13 May) sees the Greenwich Royal Parks Summer 10K Series launched, with further races at this scenic London venue scheduled for 22 July and 19 August. This series can be entered for £45 / £50 and entry fees include a bespoke technical T-shirt.
The ever popular Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 10K Series continues on the first Saturday of the month until September. These races are ideal for beginners as there are no road crossings on the course. The next race will be held on 2 June.
The Regent's Park Summer 10K Series is also under way on its regular first Sunday of the month slot. The entire course is within the confines of the historic park and is mainly flat, traffic free and is also perfect for all standards. The next race is scheduled for 3 June.
The above events and many more are available to enter now through The Race Organiser website and are featured on runABC South race listings in association with Sports Tours International
