Start of the challenging 7 Pools Run

7 Pools On Course To Test Runners Again

Complete a challenging race and help raise funds for KIDS charity in Sutton Coldfield

Jump in with both feet at the 7 Pools Run on Sunday 2 April and experience Sutton Park in all its glory. Beginner and expert alike are welcome to try this cross-country 10K which will give them a run for their money.

The 7 Pools Run is a long-standing annual event which takes place on an undulating, multi-terrain course in Sutton Park – one of the biggest urban parks in Europe. It covers around 2,400 acres of National Nature Reserve and includes seven man-made pools around which the course is set.

More than a few runners have memories of this well organised and marshalled race - both the route and the location. The terrain is a mix of grass, tracks and paths and could be muddy depending upon the weather so shoe choice will be critical.

Finishers receive a memento which this year is a lightweight, packable and easy to carry running jacket.

Cross country conjures up images of lung-busting efforts on a tough course in the Great British weather (wind and rain). Whilst this off-road race will push people to their limits they will have the satisfaction of knowing that their efforts are helping KIDS - a local charity making a difference to the lives of disabled children, young people and their families.

This is a ‘must do’ race for any runner and you can register at the 7 Pools Run website now.
