Turkey Trot

Tackle the Turkey Trot this Boxing Day

There may not be many better ways to run off the excesses of Christmas lunch than Motiv Sports’ Turkey Trot at Kings Dock, Liverpool. What’s more, the Boxing Day 5k will once again be supporting local food banks and will be taking donations on the day to help those less fortunate.

Organised by the team behind the English Half Marathon, the Turkey Trot takes place in Kings Dock, Liverpool and is designed to be a social 5k andd an event for all of the family.

If you are unable to take part on Boxing Day, organisers have ensured you won’t miss out and are allowing prospective runners to take part in a virtual race. Event manager Chris Nutley said: “If you can't join us on Boxing day, why not join us virtually by completing your 5k run anywhere in the world.”

Chris continued: “If you run a 5k between the 26th & 31st December 2018 then send us your evidence to claim your bling. This really is an all-inclusive event, suitable for any age, the run is buggy friendly, and dogs are welcome, as long as they are on a lead.”

The Turkey Trot is priced at just £5.99 (£6.99 for the virtual run). More information, including registration, is available here.
