The TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS takes runners on a spectacular road course through Australia's largest city, starting at Milsons Point before crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge and finishing beside the Sydney Opera House. As the newest Abbott World Marathon Major, it has become one of the world's most sought after marathon experiences.
The route passes many of Sydney's best known landmarks, travelling through the city centre and surrounding parks before returning to the harbour for its unforgettable waterfront finish. Although not completely flat, the course is regarded as fast, is AIMS certified and has a seven hour time limit, making it accessible to a wide range of marathon runners.
