Colshaw Hall 10K Runners

Fancy A 10K This Weekend?

There's still time to take part in one of Cheshire's most scenic 10K events...

The Colshaw Hall 10K takes place this weekend on Sunday and with it being billed as 'the most stunning race you will do all year' the question is surely, where do I sign up! As luck would have it, entries haven't yet closed - so if you fancy a last minute 10K outing then this could be the one for you.

Starting and finishing in the grounds of the majestic Colshaw Hall Country Estate near Knutsford, the race starts in the shadow of this beautiful grade II listed building in the Cheshire village of Over Peover. It then snakes through closed leafy country lanes passing the iconic Lovell telescope at Jodrell Bank. Runners then return to Colshaw Hall for a stunning finish along the tree lined driveway.

Organisers, Run Cheshire & Gogledd Cymru have announced cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd open male and female as well as vouchers for 1st place in veteran categories. So if speed's the name of your game, why not try your luck at winning a podium place?

Not so concerned about your finish time, but keen to know what 'added extras' the race has planned? Well, fear not - there will be a drink station at the 5K point with plenty of food, refreshments and goodies at the finish line not to mention a huge bespoke medal for all finishers for which the race has now become famous.

A previous entrant had this to say: "What a great race. Super easy to get my race number on the day. Great local foodie stalls for a pre race coffee and local running shop. The 50 min pace maker was awesome. He kept his eye out for me and got me over the line under sub 50 min.....bloke is a legend. I will be entering this race again and will take my family with me. Course was great, slightly undulating. Brilliant morning out. Great spiny medal too."
