The Stebbing 10 is a popular 10 mile race through the countryside surrounding the Essex village of Stebbing. Held on Remembrance Sunday, the event observes a two minute silence on the start line before runners set off, with a donation from the race supporting the Poppy Appeal.
Runners follow a gently undulating and scenic course through quiet country lanes and farm tracks around Stebbing. The route is predominantly on open roads with a short section along a well surfaced farm track, providing a varied but runnable 10 mile challenge supported by marshals around the course.
Hosted by Grange Farm & Dunmow Runners, the event has established a strong local following and a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. Finishers receive a commemorative medal inspired by Remembrance Sunday, while trophies and prizes are awarded to leading runners.
