The ATW St Albans Half Marathon starts and finishes in Verulamium Park, one of Hertfordshire's most historic parkland settings. Known as the #icelollyrun, the event follows a Half Marathon route through St Albans and the surrounding countryside, combining a community atmosphere with a challenging road course.
The route leaves Verulamium Park and heads into the country lanes around St Albans, featuring rolling terrain and several climbs along the way. While not a flat course, the undulating profile rewards runners with views across the Hertfordshire countryside before returning to the park for the finish.
One of the region's best known road races, the event attracts runners of all abilities and combines a scenic Half Marathon course with the distinctive setting of Verulamium Park and the historic city of St Albans.
