Four Seasons In One Run

Experience all the seasons in one day at See York Run York's autumn offering...

Crowded House once sang about Four Seasons In One Day, and now you can run four seasons in one day thanks to race organiser, See York Run York.

Taking place on Friday 24 September, the Four Seasons In One Day 10K will be held at the 1k cycle track at York Sports Village.

The 10K event is being held in place of the well-regarded Four Seasons 10K series in which runners completed one 10K event each season to earn a set of four fabulous medals.  Unavoidable COVID disruption in 2020 meant that most of the races had to be completed virtually and in 2021 the decision was made to do things a little differently.

A spokesperson for See York Run York said of the inaugural standalone 10K event: “We're bringing you everything that you would expect from our usual Four Seasons events on one evening. Chip timed, 10 laps of the 1k cycle circuit, bespoke medal to all finishers, chocolate goody bag and lots of home baked cakes.

“We have a super fast course for anyone aiming to beat their 10K PB, earn a PB badge and ring the PB bell. There is no cut off time for anyone wanting to try the 10km distance for the first time or improve their previous 10K time.”

Changing and showers are available at York Sports Village and there is free car parking at the Kimberlow Lane Car park, just a short walk away from the track.

If you fancy running in the race then securing your place is just a click away, like four seasons in one day!
