rabbit themed medal for the Easter Virtual Challenge

Be haring to go in this Easter virtual race for charity

Hop, skip or jump 5K and help the RSPCA Northamptonshire

Following on from the success of the ‘Mad March’ virtual race, Michelle Lewis of Step Forward with Lewis has launched a third virtual event on behalf of the RSPCA Northamptonshire branch. Run, walk or wheel 5K this Easter and be rewarded with a special, rabbit-themed medal.

Easter is fast approaching which means chocolate, hot cross buns, simnel cake and other delights and many of us will be indulging next weekend (me included), maybe more than usual after a year of Covid-19 and lockdowns. There’s nothing like a bit (or a lot!) of our favourite confectionary to put us in a good mood...

Then offset the damage caused by the extra calories by running 5K either as a single session or spread out over several days. This has to be completed between 1–7 April and whilst there is no requirement to submit evidence afterwards, participants are encouraged to post selfies, photos, Strava maps etc on social media. Even more so if they undertake this challenge dressed as the Easter bunny!

Step Forward with Lewis is donating £5 from every entry fee to the RSPCA in Northamptonshire. It is a small, independent branch that has to raise its own funds and whilst these have been affected during the pandemic, the demand for their services has continued. This event is lending a helping hand.

There are two ways to enter the details of which can be found at the Step Forward with Lewis website. Places are limited so hop on...
