RUN Victoria Park Half Marathon 2026

A Half Marathon Without The London Traffic

RUN Victoria Park Half Marathon returns on 29 November, offering a flat, traffic free 13.1 miles alongside a 10K in East London...

London might be famous for its traffic, but runners heading to Victoria Park on Sunday 29 November can leave that particular problem behind.

The RUN Victoria Park Half Marathon Autumn offers 13.1 miles entirely within one of East London's best known green spaces, with a flat, traffic free course that gives runners a welcome opportunity to concentrate on their running rather than the roads around them.

Organised by RunUK, the event starts at 10:00am and follows a looped route around Victoria Park. The consistent running surfaces and absence of traffic make it an appealing prospect for runners chasing a late autumn personal best, while the enclosed setting also suits those tackling their first half marathon.

There is another advantage to running laps. Spectators have opportunities to see their runners more than once, rather than watching them disappear into the distance and waiting for their return.

The Half Marathon is the longer challenge of the morning, but runners looking for something shorter can choose the RUN Victoria Park 10K Autumn, which takes place at the same meeting.

Both races feature chip timing, clearly signed and marshalled courses, with medals waiting for finishers. Baggage facilities and medical support are also provided.

Late November might not always deliver perfect running weather, but Victoria Park offers something that can make a real difference when chasing a time: a flat course without traffic interruptions.

For anyone hoping to finish their autumn racing season with a strong half marathon, this could be a useful final date for the diary.
