Royal Sutton Fun Run

Fun, Fun, Fun

Sutton Coldfield's big race day returns this June...

This Midlands event has both fun and charity at its heart. If that sounds like a match made in heaven to you then consider running at this year's Royal Sutton Fun Run which will take place on 2 June and will see runners complete 8.5 miles in like minded company whilst supporting their chosen charities.

Last year’s 40th Royal Sutton Fun Run, generated £187,100 for 110 charities and voluntary organisations nominated by those who took part in the event. The event has now distributed over £5million to charities and voluntary organisations across the royal town and local area since the first event in 1982.

There is always a large turnout at the Royal Sutton Fun Run which offers a fantastic challenge in a safe environment. You can expect a lively atmosphere making it a hugely enjoyable day for all. It’s a favourite for many Midlands runners and places are going fast so the advice is to enter sooner rather than later to avoid missing out.

The tarmac route is undulating and includes the infamous ‘Cardiac Hill’ in the latter stages; however, there’ll be no shortage of claps, cheers and shouts of encouragement from spectators around Royal Sutton Coldfield. Keeping the legs moving and the spirits high as participants – with more than a few wearing fancy dress – run, jog or walk to the finish in the town centre.

Finishers receive a special commemorative medal, sponsored by Cookes Furniture. You'll need to be quick if you want to bag a spot as registration will close on 15 April or before, if all 5500 places are booked.
