Walton Wobble Summer 10K Medal

Walton Wobble 10K promises a tasty summer challenge

This event returns and with the new 5K Hill Dodger.

Seconds out round two for the Walton Wobble Summer 10K on Sunday 17 July which is perfect for lovers of hills and pancakes. The warmer version of the Winter Wobble with the same scenic and challenging course, medal and buff, it is a good test for any runner whilst raising funds for charity.

The sweet and savoury offerings from the Crepe Revolution went down a treat with everyone involved at the first Walton Wobble Summer Edition 10K. The good news is that they are back on the menu for this year’s event which includes the Fiendishly Fun Run and the new 5K Hill Dodger to get your teeth into.

This event is organised by JC Race Solutions with all proceeds going to Race Against Blood Cancer -  a not for profit charity who work hard to increase the number and diversity of people available as life saving blood or stem cell donors.

All three runs start and finish at Walton High School. The Fiendishly Fun Run is a great one for kids, beginning at 9am when they'll complete up to 5 laps around the field before being rewarded with a medal and a special edition themed cupcake.

This is followed at 10am by the 10K and 5K - the latter an option for anyone who doesn't want to tackle the big climbs plus they'll get back sooner for the pancakes. The 10K runners get to experience Jacob’s Ladder (amongst others) in a delightful location and with plenty of encouragement along the way. Finishers in both races receive a medal and new edition Walton Wobble buff then it's time to replace the lost calories courtesy of Crepe Revolution.

There are places remaining but first come first served.
