Oswestry 10K is organised by Adrenaline Sporting Events and welcomes runners of all abilities, from first time 10K participants to experienced competitors chasing a fast time.
The undulating single lap course starts and finishes in Oswestry town centre and is held on fully closed roads. From Church Street, runners follow Morda Road, Nant Lane and Trefonen Road before returning via Oswestry Road and Upper Brook Street. The route is predominantly on town roads, with a more scenic section towards the latter stages.
The event has a 90 minute cut off, with roads reopening progressively behind the field. A lively start and finish area features music and flags, while the town centre location provides plenty of opportunities for spectators to support runners.
Finishers receive a medal and water, with prizes awarded to the leading male and female runners and across a range of age categories. Hope House is the event's charity partner.
