Newport Pagnell Carnival 5K

Race With Real Festival Feeling

Run, cheer and celebrate at the Newport Pagnell Carnival 5K...

Get ready for the Newport Pagnell Carnival 5K, taking place this summer on 5 July. This fast, single-lap course winds through the historic streets of Newport Pagnell on fully closed roads, creating the ultimate race-day atmosphere.

What makes this event truly special though? The timing. Runners will take off just ahead of the town’s legendary Carnival Parade, meaning thousands of spectators will be lining the streets, cheering every step of the way. Whether you’re a seasoned speedster or a first-time fun runner, this is your chance to experience unmatched crowd support as you dash towards the finish line at Riverside Meadow - the heart of the day’s celebrations.

The scenic course starts at Tanners Drive in Milton Keynes before heading onto Wolverton Road and through Newport Pagnell’s bustling high street. Runners will cross the historic Tickford Bridge, one of the oldest cast-iron bridges still in use, before passing Harben House and sprinting towards the grand Riverside Meadow finish.

Every participant will receive a finisher’s medal and free entry to Riverside Meadow, where carnival festivities will be in full swing. For those wanting a memento, official race photography will be available to capture the moment.

With thousands of spectators, a fast course and an unbeatable festival atmosphere, the Newport Pagnell Carnival 5K is more than just a race - it’s a summertime celebration of fitness and fun.
