The Newport Pagnell Carnival 5K, organised by Big Cow Sports, takes place in the historic market town of Newport Pagnell as part of the annual Newport Pagnell Carnival. The event combines competitive road running with one of the town's biggest community celebrations, attracting club runners, first time racers and families.
The single lap road course is run entirely on closed roads through the town centre before finishing at Riverside Meadow, where the carnival is in full swing. The fast, flat route is UKA affiliated and offers an excellent opportunity for quick times while being cheered on by large crowds lining the streets ahead of the famous carnival parade.
The event is professionally organised with chip timing, marshals, medical support and a finisher's medal. Family Fun Run options are also available, creating a welcoming atmosphere and making the Newport Pagnell Carnival 5K a distinctive highlight of the summer running calendar.
