Halloween pumpkin in the mist

Thrill to the Wyre Forest Trick or Treat 5K

Places are limited to 150.

The Wyre Forest Trick or Treat 5K is a new, family run taking place on Saturday 30 October – the day before All Hallows Eve. Adults and children in Halloween costumes complete 5K on tracks and trails in this popular visitor attraction in Worcestershire.

Organised by Pulse Events in conjunction with Forestry England this 5K is designed to be fun with participants getting into the spirit of the occasion by wearing fancy dress. Kids (and big kids!) have plenty to choose from and you can expect to see witches, ghosts and skeletons on the start line.

Torches are another requirement as the run doesn’t start until 5.30pm and likely to be dark by then. Participants set off from Callow Hill Visitor Centre to follow a familiar route consisting of tracks and trails that is fully marked and marshalled. ‘Trick or treat’ stations will be situated around the course but there is no water station in an effort to reduce waste. However, there are bottles of water at the finish along with goodies and a glow in the dark medal.

Whilst this is a family friendly run, participants wear bib numbers and are timed, giving them the opportunity to be competitive and race it from start to finish.

The event is supporting St Richard’s Hospice and a percentage of each entry fee is donated to the charity.
