The East Grinstead 10 Mile is the opening race of the Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend, a unique three day challenge that combines two 10 mile races and a 10K across three Sussex towns. Based at East Grinstead Rugby Club, the event offers runners the opportunity to take part as a standalone race or as the first stage of the full marathon weekend.

The course follows a multi terrain route around East Grinstead and the surrounding countryside, combining off road sections with varied terrain. As the first event of the weekend series, it attracts runners targeting the full marathon challenge as well as those focusing solely on the 10 mile distance.

Set within the rolling landscape around East Grinstead, the route provides a scenic countryside running experience with a mixture of surfaces and changing terrain. Its place within the established Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend makes it one of the area's best known multi terrain races and a key fixture in the Sussex running calendar.
