We Wish You A Merry Christmas, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, We Wish You A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Yes... the time has come, Christmas Day is almost upon us. As runners we need to make the most of this sacred day, take a break from pounding the pavements and sit down to overindulge in some delicious festive favourites. 

Of course, there will be some of you who are partaking in running streaks like Marcothon (running every day in December) and if that is the case, then 'we salute you'! It takes a brave soul to commit to such a challenge in what is one of the coldest, wettest, iciest (not to mention busiest) months of the year!

There will also be those of you who are happy to take a break from running on Christmas Day but will be first to toe the line at one of the many Boxing Day events that take place up and down the country. Again, a massive round of applause for any of you who fall in that camp. I would need to be rolled round a 10K course the day after Christmas!

Whatever your plans are, whether they involve eating, drinking, relaxing, partying or running to excess, all at runABC wish you a very Merry Christmas.
