Penguins – Ready!
It's one of the UK's largest 10K races but you still need to get your skates on...
The Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 10K will return to the heart of London on Sunday 23rd February 2025 for its special 10th-anniversary edition. The annual 10K charity run is a huge favourite, with over 20,000 people participating and places always going fast.
After a record-breaking opening, with over 9,000 places already claimed, participants don’t have much longer to sign up and secure the best price deals. Entry allocations are available on a strict first-come, first-served basis, and allocation #1 is rapidly approaching capacity.
Entrants will enjoy live music performances and be cheered on by larger-than-life winter characters. There will also be a stunning 10th-anniversary edition medal waiting for you at the finish. It doesn’t matter if you are a regular runner or complete novice, this is an exceptional event and a rare opportunity to experience the best of London's cityscape on fully-closed roads.
The race is also the perfect motivation to keep training hard throughout the winter months and with plenty of snowy surprises lined up to celebrate 10 years of conquering the cold, it’s set to be a truly unforgettable day.
Last year's winners were HOKA-sponsored athletes Jonathan Davies (28:46) and Emma Pallant (32:33). There were 17,790 finishers with around 400 of them under 40 minutes. More than 3,000 were under 50 minutes and an astonishing 8,646 beat the hour!
There are a number of different entry options and you can save big by entering as a group of four or eight. There is also a reduced price Charity Fundraiser package that includes an additional medal, charity T-shirt and special event day experiences. Or you can book a Full Experience Pack that includes a 10th Anniversary training T-shirt and personalised medal insert (iTab).
However you decide to do it, our advice is to get your skates on as prices will increase soon.
