Fast, Flat And By The Sea At The Littlehampton 10K
Fast seaside 10K returns to Littlehampton...
This relates to: Littlehampton 10K
The Littlehampton 10K returns on Sunday 6 September 2026, inviting runners to enjoy one of the South Coast's fastest and most scenic road races along the beautiful West Sussex coastline.
Starting and finishing on Littlehampton Promenade, the fully road closed 10K combines a flat, personal best friendly course with outstanding sea views. The route takes runners past the town's colourful beach huts before heading through residential Littlehampton, Rustington and Mewsbrook Park, creating an enjoyable mix of coastal scenery and local community support.
With more than two decades of history behind it, the event attracts everyone from club runners chasing fast times to first time 10K participants looking for an unforgettable race day experience. Professional chip timing, pacers, excellent course marshalling and a lively event village all contribute to the race's growing reputation on the South Coast.
The event also supports the outstanding work of Chestnut Tree House, the children's hospice serving East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire. Many runners choose to use the race as an opportunity to raise funds for the charity, adding an extra sense of purpose to an already memorable day.
Families can also get involved through the popular Family Mile, ensuring runners of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy the event. Together with free race photography, a distinctive finisher's medal and a post race goody bag, it offers an experience that extends well beyond the finish line.
Whether you're chasing a personal best, running for charity or simply looking for a memorable day beside the sea, the Littlehampton 10K continues to offer one of the South Coast's standout late summer running events.
