You'll find French road and place names and spend pounds sterling (or Jersey pounds) if you visit the stunning Channel Island of Jersey for the Cannacord Genuity Wealth Management Jersey Half Marathon on Sunday 8 June 2025 – a runABC South Featured Race.

Run Jersey Events has been organising and creating iconic endurance events in Jersey and across the Channel Islands since 2011. The Jersey Half Marathon, adopted from Jersey Hash House Harriers in 2012, started in 1989 and is flourishing in its 36th year.

With a new title sponsor the event has grown into the Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management Jersey Half Marathon. The Canaccord Corporate Cup arrived on the scene in 2014 to liven up the lunchtimes of the office workers.

The 2024 race saw 442 finishers in 3:17:25, with wins for James Oliver (Jersey Spartans AC, 1:16:53) and Eve Graham (1:27:50). The Jersey Half Marathon is a coastal road race with stunning scenery and a few hills thrown in to give you the best views of the coastline. It's not the fastest road race, but the atmosphere and views make up for that!

Jersey frequently tops the charts as the warmest and sunniest of the British Isles. Add the warm welcome you will receive as a sports tourist, and this becomes an irresistable event to put on the bucket list. The race starts and finishes at Les Quennevais Cycle Track in St Brelade and the course has around 500 feet of elevation.

The organisers provide complimentary return coach transfers from the Liberation Square Sculpture in St Helier. There is free public car parking for race day at Les Quennevais, which is on the bus route from the nearby Jersey Airport, but be aware of Sunday timetables.

So, if you feel like a short trip abroad to a warm and welcoming island where the money and language are the same as at home but the atmosphere is distinctly different, make a note of the Cannacord Genuity Jersey Half Marathon on 8 June 2025.
