The Jane Tomlinson Run For All York 10K is organised by Run For All and is one of Yorkshire's best known city centre road races. Starting and finishing on Knavesmire Road near York Racecourse, the event welcomes runners of all abilities, from first time participants and charity fundraisers to experienced athletes chasing a personal best on its fast, flat course.
The closed road route passes many of York's most famous landmarks, including the ancient city walls, Clifford's Tower and York Minster, combining historic surroundings with outstanding crowd support and a vibrant race day atmosphere. Professional chip timing, accurately measured kilometres, finisher's medals and excellent organisation help create an outstanding running experience from start to finish. Since its launch in 2009, the York 10K has become one of Yorkshire's most popular 10K events, attracting thousands of runners each year while continuing the fundraising legacy of Jane Tomlinson and Run For All.
