Insane On The Terrain
Whether it’s crossing a net bridge, wading through water, sliding down a 20ft water slide or going through inflatables there is something for everyone at this summer event...
Come late August, some parents will be going a bit insane waiting for the schools to go back after another lengthy summer holiday. Why not embrace that insanity and sign up for this year's Insane Terrain Running event on 15 August, you can take the kids along too!
Taking place at Washbrook Farm, Doddington you can expect free parking, toilets, refreshments and camping all available on site. The course is set out in a 5K loop with participants getting the choice on the day of completing one lap or two which allows for 5K or 10K distance.
The course is the main event and includes pond wades, waterslides, hay bale climbs and much more. Organisers say: "We are planning on having more than 60 obstacles this summer - the biggest amount of obstacles we’ve ever had. We can also confirm that our 30m inflatable will be incorporated within this year's course.
"When you enter an Insane Terrain event be prepared to enjoy yourself, the races are off road and designed to offer you just about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on!"
Each location offers something different, but as you find yourself wading in water, climbing over obstacles or sliding in mud, the emphasis is always on having a great time. Whether it’s crossing a net bridge, wading through water, sliding down a 20ft water slide or going through inflatables there is something for everyone.
