Hull Running Festival Runners

Grab A Bargain For A Hull Of A Great Race

Early bird entries have opened for one of the North's most popular festivals of running...

Following three successful years, the Hull Half Marathon will make its return in 2023. The event will once again be held on the same day as the popular Hull 10K, creating a festival of running that’s guaranteed to bring together thousands of runners. Taking place on 11 June, the festival is expected to raise tens of thousands of pounds for a number of local and national charities, and the good news is that early bird entries are now open for both races!

The day will see runners of all ages and abilities return to the city’s streets in a carnival celebration of running, fundraising and Northern pride. Returning to a city centre start and finish, both routes will take runners past a number of Hull's iconic landmarks including the Humber Dock Marina, award-winning aquarium, The Deep, and Hull Minster.

Cllr Mike Ross said: “We are delighted to welcome the return of the Hull Running Festival to the city’s streets for 2023. It’s great to see the return of a community event for all ages and abilities to get involved in and which will benefit so many local and national charities. The event is a much-loved part of the city’s sporting calendar, so we have no doubt it will be a fantastic day of running in the city.”

Building on its previous organisation of the event, Run For All will continue to increase community and charity engagement, while also working to remove barriers to participation for the event, so that more people in the region can enjoy the benefits of getting active.

Mike Tomlinson of Run For All said: “We are delighted to be returning to Hull in 2023 for the Hull Running Festival. The festival is so well-received within the local community of Hull and it promises to be a rewarding and enjoyable event for all those involved.

"Providing fundraising opportunities for charities is the primary objective of every Run For All event, ensuring that the money being raised by the event stays local and supports the causes that need them most.

"Whether you’re looking for a fun activity for the family, a way to raise money for charity or a new personal challenge, we hope to see you on the start line in 2023.”
