The Hop Run offers 5K and 10K trail running options through the scenic landscapes of Roslin Glen in Midlothian. The routes follow woodland paths and riverside trails alongside the North Esk River, passing through a mix of forest scenery, historic landmarks and natural features before finishing at Stewart Brewing in Loanhead.
The 10K starts from Aaron House in Penicuik and takes in three castles along the way, while the 5K begins at Roslin Glen Country Park. Both routes provide an accessible trail running experience that combines flowing off road terrain with some of the most attractive countryside close to Edinburgh.
