The Hardwick 10K takes place in Pilsley, Derbyshire, and is organised by a team of local volunteers with support from Pilsley Parish Council and Cannon Events. First held in its original format before becoming a 10K in 2016, the event has become one of Derbyshire’s best known summer races.
The accurately measured out and back road course climbs steadily to the magnificent Hardwick Hall before turning at the halfway point. A fast descent is followed by a further climb before the final downhill kilometre back into Pilsley, creating a rewarding and memorable race experience.
The race is chip timed and includes commemorative finisher souvenirs, prizes across open, age group and team categories, together with refreshments and facilities at Race HQ. The friendly village atmosphere and charitable fundraising add to the distinctive character of this long established event.
