The Guy Fawkes 10 is a challenging 10 mile race based in Pateley Bridge and set among the scenic countryside of Nidderdale. The mixed terrain route is predominantly on road with a short farm track section, passing through Bewerley and towards Glasshouses before following the River Nidd towards Dacre Banks.
Runners can expect a properly hilly course, with a substantial climb towards Dacre followed by roads around Heyshaw and Nought Moor. A fast descent leads back into Bewerley before a final climb towards the finish, giving the race a demanding and varied profile. Two drinks stations provide support along the route.
The event starts and finishes at Pateley Bridge Showground, with Race HQ a short walk away at Pateley Bridge Primary School. The established local race combines a testing Nidderdale course with attractive rural surroundings and a rewarding finish back in Pateley Bridge.
