A Race For All Seasons
York's Four Seasons 10K race series is back for 2023...
See York Run York's well-regarded Four Seasons 10K series will return for 2023, offering runners the opportunity to complete the same 10K route four times in one year. Some might use this as a means of testing their speed over the course of the year, while others will simply view it as a way to be a part of a friendly running community.
Speed and community aside, those who do participate in all four races will also earn themselves a set of four 'fabulous' medals as well as a finisher's t-shirt which race organisers will provide as a 'thank you' for supporting their live events. A spokesperson from the team at See York Run York said: "and we have a fabulous new series of medals being developed that we will be able to share with you in the New Year."
This will be the fifth running of this really popular race series which sees runners complete 10 laps of the 1K cycle circuit at York Sports Village where changing and showers are also available. There is free car parking at the Kimberlow Lane Car park, which is just a short walk away from the track.
Speaking about the event, the spokesperson continued: "As in previous years, our series entry will allow you to save £10 compared to entering the events individually. Each runner will receive a bespoke medal with a brand new design for 2023 and lots of chocolate goodies."
The events take place at 6.30 on Friday evenings. The Spring 10K is set for 31 March, Summer is scheduled for 9 June, Autumn for 1 September and Winter for 8 December. Entries for the full season ticket must be made by 24 March.
