Run Like A Badass

Fancy running in the 'bestest, baddest trail race in Scotland'?

Run like a total 'badass' this February and take part in a race that claims to be the 'Bestest Baddest Winter Trail Race in Scotland!' The Badass Trail Race is all set for 26 February and will take runners on a tour of Fife's Balbirnie Park.

Balbirnie Park lies to the northeast of Glenrothes and comprises 416 acres of parkland and woodland gardens - its varied terrain makes it an ideal setting for a trail race. The race distance will be between 4 and 5 miles and will traverse the paths and trails of the park's beautiful woodlands.

Speaking about the course race organisers said: "We've got a cracking wee route which includes mud, water crossings and a few undulations to keep everyone happy!"

The race is sponsored by Badass Brewing Co, hence the name and there will be spot prizes of their delicious craft beer to be won on the day. Other prizes will be on offer for the three overall males and females as well as first prizes in some age group categories.

All finishers will be rewarded with either a race medal or memento, but best of all is the news that local cafe - the Cake Lab will be in attendance with some of their tasty treats. A quick google search reveals promises of sticky toffee caramel cupcakes, Biscoff rocky road and empire biscuits... yum!
