Runners and families can look forward to the return of the Eyemouth Twilight 5K & Fun Run on the evening of Friday, 29 August. Taking place in the stunning coastal village of Eyemouth, this much-loved event is back with new features to enhance the experience for participants.

This year, the 5K route has been officially certified by Scottish Athletics and chip timing has been introduced, meaning every runner’s time will be recorded accurately from the moment they cross the start line - no more jostling for position at the front!

The race starts at Giacopazzi’s Gelato, taking runners along Harbour Road before heading up Victoria Road and past Eyemouth High School. The route continues around the golf course, featuring a 600m out-and-back stretch before looping back down to the harbour. Participants will cross the red bridge onto the middle pier, passing through the working harbour before finishing back at Giacopazzi’s Gelato.

All 5K and Fun Run participants will receive a goodie bag and a delicious ice cream, courtesy of Giacopazzi’s, every finisher will also be awarded a bespoke medal to mark their achievement.
