Event of the Week

Dirty Rotten Scramble water hazard

Muddy Marvellous!

Extreme obstacles, mud and water hazards are promised at this event...

Established in 2015, Dirty Rotten Scramble Races are a series of brutal (but fun) mud and extreme trail runs in beautiful countryside in the South of England. Billed as 'Britain's Toughest Trail Run', the next event is at Hole Park Gardens between Benenden and Rolvenden in Kent on Saturday 15 June 2024.

Dirty Rotten Scramble (DRS) course designs are among the best in the UK. If you are looking for a nice flat simple trail race – this isn't it! At Hole Park, you'll slip, slide, and scramble through various natural and constructed obstacles over an action-packed 5K, 10K, or 30K course. All abilities are welcome and the custom-designed finishers' medal is a classic.

This is a truly wild event. You’ll tackle various water obstacles along the way. Rather than just wading through mud and water, DRS includes a few swims, too. But, there's no need to panic, there are course diversions for non-swimmers!

DRS race events include free photos and chip timing, so you will get your finish time and race results sent to you. Water stations and refreshments are available on the course, parking is free, on-site loos are available and there will also be food, drink, and a huge muddy hug at the finish line.

So, if you are ready to get down and dirty with DRS, dig out your grippiest trail shoes and easiest-to-clean running gear and check out Hole Park Gardens for your next big adventure.
