Derby MoRun brings the nationwide MoRunning series to Markeaton Park, with 5K, 10K and half marathon distances plus a Mini MoRun for children. The event welcomes runners of all abilities and raises awareness and funds for Movember and men's health.
The main races follow multi-lap routes around Markeaton Park, using a mixture of paths and park roads. The predominantly flat course has some gentle undulations, with the different distances completing varying numbers of laps. The Mini MoRun gives younger runners their own shorter challenge as part of the event.
The races are chip timed and finishers receive a MoRunning medal, headband and refreshments. Fancy dress and moustaches are encouraged, helping create the distinctive atmosphere found across the nationwide MoRunning series.
