Credenhill Canters Back
Credenhill Canter returns to Herefordshire's race calendar in 2025...
After a year away, the popular Credenhill Canter is making a welcome return on 28 September. Hosted by Wye Valley Runners, the 10K multi-terrain race winds through picturesque country lanes and woodland trails, offering a scenic and rewarding challenge for runners of all levels.
Set in the heart of Herefordshire, the event raises vital funds for the Herefordshire Special Care Baby Unit, a cause it has supported since 2012. The race will start near Credenhill Church and finish at the Social and Sports Club, where a lively afternoon of celebrations will follow. Runners and supporters can enjoy a family BBQ, live music and refreshments from local vendors throughout the day.
With trophies awarded to the top male and female finishers in various age categories, the Credenhill Canter is both a competitive race and a festive community event. It’s a great way to round off the summer race season in a relaxed and friendly setting.
Wye Valley Runners, who also organise the popular Muddy Woody 6 and Crocodile 8, are building excitement for the return of this race, as well as their brand new Bearwood Blast event in August.
Runners looking to experience a rural trail race with plenty of atmosphere should mark the Credenhill Canter firmly in their autumn calendar.
