Last Call For Ramathon

The countdown is on for this year's Ramathon weekend!

There’s still time to sign up for one of the East Midlands’ most popular running events, as the Ramathon and Ram 5 Mile return to Derby on 29 June. Organised by Run For All since 2018, the half marathon has become a firm favourite on the running calendar, attracting thousands of entrants from across the country and raising significant funds for a wide range of charities.

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever. Runners will start and finish at Silk Mill Park near Derby Cathedral, following a fast, flat course that takes in Pride Park Stadium, Alvaston Park and the picturesque surroundings of Elvaston Castle Country Park. The scenic route and supportive crowds help create a vibrant race-day atmosphere that keeps participants coming back year after year.

A goody bag packed with post-race treats awaits at the finish line, along with a range of food and drink options. Spectators and runners alike will also find plenty of bars and cafés in the area ready to welcome them with post-run refreshments and a buzzing atmosphere.

For those not quite ready to tackle 13.1 miles, the RAM 5 Mile offers a shorter, equally exciting option. This inclusive event is open to runners of all abilities and follows the same start and finish as the half marathon. After covering the first two miles through Derby city centre, participants will head out towards Pride Park Stadium before looping back to the finish at Silk Mill Park.

With a fast course, a festive atmosphere and events to suit a wide range of runners, Derby’s Ramathon weekend is set to be another highlight of the summer.
