The Clowne Half Marathon is a popular road running event organised by Clowne Road Runners in Derbyshire. Starting at The Arc Leisure Centre, the race takes participants through Clowne and its surrounding villages before finishing at Clowne Community Centre. The event is known for its scenic countryside setting and distinctive finisher's hoody.
Runners take on a single lap 13.1 Mile road course featuring rolling hills and varied gradients throughout. Chip timing provides accurate race results, while distance markers, water stations and support along the route help participants complete the challenge. The event also includes a shorter family fun run.
Secure baggage transfer is provided between the separate start and finish venues, making race day arrangements easier for participants. Each half marathon finisher receives a commemorative hoody, and a contribution from every entry supports the Tiny Tim Trust.
