Chasewater Easter Egg 10K & 5K

Hop On Down To Chasewater

Easter Bunny providing runners with a real treat at Chasewater Reservoir this March...

Forget mince pies and the excesses of Christmas, with Cadbury Creme Eggs already in the supermarkets attentions have now turned to Easter and the Chasewater Easter Egg 10K & 5K (Sunday 31 March) is the ideal way to burn off any egg-related calories you might want to shift! Go hard and fast for prizes or take it steady and run in Easter fancy dress...

Organisers, Nice Work, comment: "The first thing you need to know about the Chasewater Easter Egg races is that we fully support the fun! Some of our runners choose to dress up as their favourite Easter character and whilst it's by no means mandatory, it does create a wonderful atmosphere for this spring race!"

The event involves a one or two lap race using the undulating paths and trails around Chasewater Reservoir. The races start just outside the Innovation Centre and after a short loop around the centre, runners head clockwise around the reservoir and cover two laps for 10K and one lap for the 5K.

There is also a children's 600m race, so it is a great way to get all the family involved in the holiday weekend.

Nice Work is known for their quality medals which will be presented to each runner and their Easter one is no exception. Bag your medal then tuck back into the chocolate.
