The Bury 10K is a popular town centre road race staged in partnership with Bury Council. Starting and finishing close to The Rock, the event brings runners into the heart of Bury for an accessible 10K challenge supported by a lively event village and crowds around the central start and finish area.
The 10K course is designed to suit a broad range of abilities, from runners targeting a personal best to those completing the distance for the first time or fundraising for charity. The race is chip timed, with pacers available to help runners target different finishing times and water and medical support provided around the course.
Every finisher receives an exclusive medal and goody bag, with official event photography available along the route. Mini and Junior runs also take place as part of the event, giving younger runners an opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the Bury running weekend.
