Broadway Marathon & Half Marathon is organised by Cotswold Trail Events and takes runners on a challenging tour of the northern Cotswolds.
Starting on Broadway High Street, both races quickly climb towards Broadway Tower before continuing through picturesque villages, woodland, fields and hills. The routes are predominantly on trails and unpaved tracks, with only short sections of road. After passing through Snowshill and Stanway, the Marathon separates from the Half Marathon and continues towards Winchcombe and Sudeley Castle before tackling the final major climb.
The Marathon later rejoins the Half Marathon route for the undulating return through fields and woodland to Broadway. Both races are licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules, with marked routes and marshals positioned at key points.
