The route begins at the bridge itself with a tough 2k climb up the West Highland Way path offering outstanding views of Loch Tulla, before the quick descent to the road section beginning at the Inveroran Hotel.
Get your breath back, find your pace and take in views of the spectacular Black Mount Estate as you run to the turning point at Victoria car park. Heading back to Bridge of Orchy with Loch Tulla on your left, views of Beinn Achaladair, Beinn an Dothaidh and Beinn Dorain will inspire you to a sprint finish back at the bridge!
The first 3k of the run is on the rocky, mostly uneven West Highland Way path where big puddles and small streams will need to be splashed through. Trail shoes that you are comfortable running on tarmac with are the best option.
