Bredon Cricket Club Tower Run

Tower Run Now Timed!

Popular Worcestershire event back in May with chip timing for the first time...

Runners looking for a scenic challenge can now sign up for the Bredon Cricket Club Tower Run which will take place on Sunday, 25 May. This popular 10K trail run starts and finishes at the picturesque Bredon Cricket Club and, for the first time, will feature chip timing for more accurate results.

The fully marshalled course winds through country lanes, tracks and paths before reaching the 299m summit of Bredon Hill, home to an Iron Age fort and the historic Parson’s Folly tower. With stunning views across the surrounding countryside, this is one of the most spectacular 10K races in the Midlands.

After conquering the hill, runners can celebrate with refreshments from the club’s fully licensed bar while enjoying live music. All finishers will receive a medal, with trophies awarded to the first male and female finishers as well as the first male and female members of Bredon Cricket Club to complete the course.

Previous participant Andrew Brentnall praised the event, saying: “Big thank you to organisers, marshals, and supporters, as well as the ladies and gents who served up all the refreshments before and after. Great testing course in a lovely location - will be back!”
