Beachy Head Marathon, Ultra & 10K

The Beachy Head Marathon Weekend takes runners from Eastbourne Seafront into the spectacular landscape of the South Downs National Park. Marathon, Ultra, Half Marathon and 10K distances explore the surrounding Downs, with dramatic coastal scenery and challenging off road routes at the heart of the event.

Runners can expect steep climbs, descents and rolling trails across the South Downs, with the Marathon taking on the famous Seven Sisters as part of its demanding course. The 10K follows a shorter loop towards Belle Tout Lighthouse, while the Ultra extends the challenge to approximately 52.6K by completing the 10K route before continuing onto the Marathon course.

Each distance starts and finishes on Eastbourne Seafront near the beginning of the South Downs Way. With several distances to choose from and extensive views across the coast and countryside, the event provides a challenging trail running experience in one of the South Coast’s most distinctive landscapes.
