Barclays Knutsford 10K

Go Fast Or Go Home!

This autumn 10K promises fast times across the board...

The Barclays Knutsford 10K is billed as 'potentially the flattest and fastest course in the North West' making it a race not to be missed this autumn (29 September).

Race HQ is situated within the stunning grounds of the Barclays Radbroke campus. This campus is the largest technology centre for the bank in the UK, pivoted around the Grade II listed Radbroke Hall. The course sees runners head out on the country lanes of Over Peover, Snelson and Peover Heath, before returning to Radbroke.

The beautiful country lanes are all fully closed to traffic and the course is super flat with a modest incline at around 2K but then drifts downhill from 6K-8K. The rest is pancake flat (only 23 metres of elevation) so if you have your sights set on a new PB or a fast time this year then this is definitely the race for you.

In 2023 Olympic and Commonwealth Games athlete, Callum Hawkins, proved the fast nature of the course with a winning time of 29:45. In the women's race it was Jessica Piasecki of Stockport Harriers & AC who claimed victory in 33:07.

It is a race that garners positive reviews across the board, like this from Daniel Merrick who commented on Facebook after the 2023 race: "I had an amazing morning at the Knutsford 10K this morning, finishing in 35:57, a huge PB! Really enjoyable course with a great atmosphere."
