Fall in for the Autumn Hopton Court Trail Run
Scenic multi-distance event returns in October.
The season of mists and mellow trails... the Hopton Court Trail Run is back this year as a one day event on Sunday 24 October and runners will be treated to an autumn spectacular at this private estate in South Shropshire. There are four races to choose from and canicross runners are welcome too.
It is the 4th outing for this trail run which is challenging and enjoyable in equal parts: held on the private Hopton Court Estate with 1800 acres of woodland and fields to explore as a solo runner, part of a team in the relay or with man’s best friend. This replaces the Weekender event that was scheduled for August but has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Entrants have the following options: 5K, 10K, 20K Solo and 20K Team Relay (team of four). They put their best foot (or paw) forward as they complete 1 lap, 2 laps or 4 laps around an undulating, multi-terrain route with arrow pointers and marshals in key sections to keep them going and in the right direction. A shallow water crossing adds to the fun as runners plunge through or leap over.
This event caters to all - beginner or experienced, adult or child (minimum age 11) and whether they take it steady or go flat out, they will be rewarded with a medal and an official time.
It sounds too good to miss. Sign up now for the Hopton Court Trail Run.
